Not many know that the juju king, King Sunny Ade, recently jetted out of the country to South Africa. But what for?  He had gone to participate in the recording of the Theme Song for 2010 World Cup in that country.  Sunny Ade had the privilege to be selected as the only African for the recording.

The members of the theme song are six, one selected from each of the continent in the world.   The Theme song was recorded at Capitol Records which is situated on the last floor of a high rise building in Johannesburg, the capital of the country.  Societywatch gathered that Sunny Ade recorded his own in his native Yoruba language, just as others were permitted to record in any language of the continent they represent.

Do you know the blunder Baba made?  He went into the recording in his native lace attire (a netlike ornamental fabric) in a very chilly weather. We gathered that he was almost frozen.  What happen thereafter? He was said to have consumed several jars of hot tea.
