Group demands ministerial slot for Urhobo

UGHELLI—The Loyal Urhobo Group has called on Acting President Goodluck Jonathan to give the Urhobo a ministerial slot to justify the status of the ethnic group as the largest in Delta State.

The group also called on Urhobos to rally round Senator Adego Eferakeya for a second term in the senate, arguing that it would ensure greater democratic dividends to  Urhobo nation.

In a communiqué issued at the end of its meeting at Udu, Delta State, the group said as the fifth largest ethnic nationality in the country, the Urhobos deserved a ministerial appointment in the administration of Acting President Goodluck Jonathan.
