2011: Okowa heads Uduaghan’s campaign

ASABA—Secretary to Delta State Government, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, is to head Uduaghan 2011 Campaign Organisation to drive the governor’s bid to secure a second term in office.
The campaign team was inaugurated in Asaba yesterday, with party loyalists from the 25 local government areas in the state storming the event.

Addressing the mammoth gathering, Okowa  said the team, having been blessed with the best of brains in the political, social and economic cadres, would have no difficulty in accomplishing its task.

Said he :  “The governor’s performance speaks for itself, as the administration has successfully built confidence in the people.”

Deputy Governor of the state, Prof Amos Utuama (SAN), Senator Stella Omu, Chief B.I.C  Ijeoma, Senator Fred Brume, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Martin Okonta, were among the speakers who attested to the fact that Governor Uduaghan has performed well and needed to be re-elected in 2011.
