2011: No vacancy in Asaba Govt House, says DTHA Whip

By Emman Ovuakporie

BENIN—CHIEF Whip of Delta State House of Assembly, Tim Owhefere, has said there is no vacancy at Asaba Government House come 2011, as Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan would remain in office.

Owhefere, who spoke with Vanguard at Benin airport yesterday, said “there can never be vacancy in Asaba because the governor has performed beyond everybody’s imagination. When did you go home last, my friend?

“If you have not gone home recently, please go as there is no community in the state that does not have one form of project or programme on-going right now as I speak to you. “Those critics in Lagos and Abuja have remained glued to their chairs. Tell them to go home and see the massive developmental projects going on in their various communities.”

The chief whip added: “In terms of road construction and other infrastructural developments, Uduaghan has, in three years, done for Deltans what Napoleon Bonaparte could not do for France.”
