Barely 60 days to the kick of the glamorous  World Cup finals in South Africa, Ibrahim Isa Bio, the newly appointed minister and Chairman National Sports Commission, yesterday, promised to introduce new strategies that would enhance the Eagles’ performance at the Mundial.

Noting the dwindling fortune in the country’s performance in major engagements in the recent past, Bio said he was arranging a meeting with the Eagles’ Technical Adviser, Lars Lagerback to map out the strategies.

“Our performance and making impact in South Africa is very necessary. There is every need to start new preparation for the World Cup finals.

“I’ll arrange for a meeting with the team’s Technical Adviser, and bring out new strategies in the next two weeks for the World Cup”, Ibrahim Isa Bio said.
