Warri Wolves landed at Ndola, Zambia, yesterday, with an aim to play and win the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup, against Zesco Football Club whom they thrashed 3-0 in the first tie decided at the Warri Township Stadium.

Warri Wolves coach, Lawrence Akpokona, said that his team will not make the mistake of underrating the Zambians who surprisingly succumbed to them, despite their impressive credential in continental football.

“We are here in Zambia to snatch victory. We are going to carry on like the result of the first leg does not exist.
“Zesco are a good side and so we won’t make the mistake of underestimating them,” said the coach yesterday.
He added that the players are in a confident mood for the game that will be decided at Ndola, the commercial nerve centre of Zambia.

The Wolves arrived Zambia in a chattered flight and according to the club spokesman, Timi Ebikaboro, the players have been well rested and they will start working out today ahead of the encounter billed for Saturday.
