Winner emerges in Diamond Bank’s special autoloan promo

Diamond Bank has continued to put smiles on the faces of its customers as one of its Trans Amadi branch customers and a staff of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr. Luke Benedict Ibanga, has become the latest beneficiary of the Bank’s numerous consumer rewards, when he emerged winner of a free loan repayment in the first phase of the Honda/Diamond Bank special auto loan scheme’s draw which held in Lagos recently.

The draw ceremony which was witnessed by the management of both institutions is in line with the auto loan deal where 1 out of every 50 customers who purchased a brand new Honda car under unique terms, would be rewarded with a free loan repayment. This implies that Honda and Diamond Bank will off set the outstanding loan of the customers whose loan repayments are up to date and not in default.

According to a statement by Charles Udoh, the Bank’s Head Corporate Communications, Mr. Ibanga bought a Honda Accord (specially selected by his wife) for N4,095,000 under the special scheme between November_December 2009, with the bank providing funding of N2,500,000 over his preferred tenure of 24 months at a low_interest rate of 15% p.a.
“During the campaign, customers enjoyed the choice of buying from a range of Honda cars including: Honda Accord, Honda Civic, Honda CRV, Honda City and Honda Jazz, with an option to make a down payment of 20% or more, spread the loan repayment over a period of one year and enjoy zero (0% p.a.) interest rate on the loan” said Mr. Udoh.
He further explained that one could also choose a longer tenure from 2_4 years and enjoy unbelievable rates starting from 15% p.a. Or make a lower down payment of 10%, spread his loan repayment over 2_4years and still enjoy terrific interest rates from 17% p.a.

“At the tail end of last year, Honda and Diamond Bank promised to give 1 in 50 customers  a chance of having their loan repaid for free. There is also a free delivery to any location nationwide and the first three services FREE and access to Honda service centers. To partake in the offer, just obtain a proforma invoice from a Honda Place location and visit any Diamond Bank branch nearest to you,” he stated.

When contacted, Mr. Ibanga who attributed his wining to the glory of God, stated that he was very surprised when he was initially called from the Honda Place to break the news to him, adding that he just bought the car because it gave him the opportunity of O% interest and a convenient payment plan.

Mr. Udoh noted that for Diamond Bank, the focus is always to establish and sustain an enduring relationship with customers based on providing value adding services to its clientele.
