The duo of Ahmad and Bello noted that the bane of the Nigeria society was nothing but lack of prayers and morals.

Speaking at the public presentation of a prayer book, “The daily companion for all Muslim,” written by a woman scholar, Hajia Mulikat Adesola Dabiri, in Lagos, the Islamic scholar and don explained: “Prayer is the solution to the national problem as well as for individual inadequacies.

“With faith in God and fervent prayers, everything in the sight of Allah is possible. There will be no problems, especially those that were as a result of human error.”

Delivering his address as the Chairman on the occasion, Professor Bello blamed the neglect of prayer by Muslims and non Muslims alike on the dearth of comprehensive prayer books for the present generation.

While commending the author for a job well done, the don argued that more of such prayer books were needed for the benefit of the society.
