Lagerback can take Eagles to final in S/Africa, says Senate President

The Senate President, Senator David Mark, believes that with the hiring of Lars Lagerback to pilot the Eagles’ affairs for the 2010 World Cup finals, and the calibre of talents available that the Eagles are capable of playing in the final in South Africa.


Senator Mark, who was one of the golfers in the PW Nigeria Limited for St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the IBB International Golf and Country Club, said, “We have the talents Lars Lagerback would work with to achieve a final slot in the World Cup finals in South Africa.

“He (Lars Lagerback) should do his best for us, and I’m sure we’ve got the talents. Once we can harness the talents, we would be in good shape.

“We should begin to do whatever we can now to make sure we sort ourselves properly before the matches of the 2010 World Cup”, Senator David Mark said shortly after he had teed off in his game of the PW tournament won by Bala Inuwa; a handicap 19. The latter posted 41 points to clinch the title.
