Delta officials tour Obasanjo’s Farms

ASABA—DELTA State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Tony Nwaka, has led officials of his ministry to Obasanjo Farms in Ogun State for a facility tour of the farms and discussion on the prospects of establishing Obasanjo farms in the state.

Nwaka told Vanguard in Asaba, weekend that the visit to the farm was quite interesting and revealing.
“We hope to actualize the mission. We were warmly received and conducted round the facilities, followed by a meeting with the former President Olusegun Obasanjo himself.”

Delta State governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, had on resumption from a three-week annual leave recently, said the government had completed arrangements to enter into partnership with foreign investors to boost growth in the agricultural and oil and gas sectors of the state’s economy.
