Group endorses Rep’s fourth-term bid

PATANI—Over 5,000 members of ‘Project Mutu 2011’ in Patani Local Government Area of Delta State have endorsed the member representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Mr . Nicholas Mutu to re-run, come 2011 general elections.

The Coordinator of ‘Project Mutu 2011’, Mr. Paul Oge in his address at the rally held in honour of Mutu, noted that the reason behind the endorsement of Mutu was due to his laudable performance in the areas of youth empowerment programmes, setting up of skill acquisition programme, re-construction of Boys Model School, Patani Road through NDDC, influencing of the award of the construction of Gbaregolor-Ogo-Eze Road project among other projects that had affected the people of his constituent.

Paul pointed out that they would not jeopardize their future by putting it in the hands of unknown political office seekers in the House of Representatives, but that they rather preferred  Mutu, who is well articulate and responsive to their plight.

Mr. Bruno Otuisi who move the endorsement motion while addressing a mammoth crowd said, Mutu deserved a fourth term in the federal house of representatives to enable him continue with his good works that have positively affect the lives of his constituents.

Also HRH Major Lucky Erebulu (rtd), Pere of Kabowei kingdom while addressing members of the ‘Project Mutu 2011’ thanked them for their orderliness adding that his kingdom will continue to welcome such peaceful groups.

The royal father urged them to remain focus with their choice of aspirant calling on other groups to emulate the peaceful manner of ‘Project Mutu 2011’ organizers.
