Gov Uduaghan leads Wolves to Warri City Stadium

The sports loving Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, will in company of members of the state executive council, speaker and members of the Delta State House of Assembly and other prominent Deltans cheer Warri Wolves Football Club of Warri at the magnificent Warri City Stadium when they take on Atletico Olympic Football Club of Burundi in the 2nd leg of the CAF Confederation Cup match on Sunday.

Governor Uduaghan has therefore urged Deltans to come out en-mass putting on blue jerseys to cheer their darling team as they get set to do the state and country proud in this year’s competition.

Already the state governor has paid an unscheduled visit to the Warri City Stadium to ascertain the level of preparedness of the facilities ahead of the game, expressing satisfaction with the level of job being done by the contracting firm Tiger Turf of London.

Of particular interest to Governor Uduaghan was the drainage issue that has almost become an albatross to the stadium, but coincidentally it rained heavily immediately he entered the arena and after 15 minutes the pitch was dry convincing the governor that the problem has finally been solved.

Already the media center, press gallery, VIP lounge, medical center, security post dressing rooms are all set to play host to the match.
