Governor Gbenga Daniel of Ogun State has commiserated with his Niger State counterpart, Dr. Babangida Aliyu, over the death of one of his predecessors, Dr.Musa Inuwa, urging the government and people of Niger State to take solace in the worthy legacy left behind by the former governor. Dr. Musa Inuwa passed on at the age of 62 on Sunday.
Daniel, in a condolence message to Gov. Aliyu described late Inuwa as one of the makers of modern Niger State and a patriot who contributed his quota to the development of Nigeria in various capacities.
â€œWe received the news of the death of Dr. Inuwa with shock. He was an outstanding professional and a firm believer in the Nigerian project. He was a patriot who contributed immensely to the development of his state and country.
“We believe that with his passage, Niger State has lost one of its illustrious sons. On behalf of the government and people of Ogun State we express our heartfelt condolences and pray that God will give the government and people of Niger State and the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss,â€ Daniel said.
