Angola: Don’t change Amodu’s team, Disu

Former Flying coach Tunde Disu has called on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) not to change the team that qualified the country for  the first World Cup to be staged in Africa in June.

According to him, dissolving the team would result to distractions as well as causing problems in the pattern of play. He believes the Super Eagles coach Shaibu Amodu having coached the team for so long should be able to  know the capability of each player.

“No doubt, our dream concerning the World Cup has been  fulfilled I think the next thing that should be on our mind is to see how we can work more on the team.

“The team needs to improve in every angle so as to make sure they don’t disappoint us, but that does mean that the team needs to be changed completely.

“At least he has been working on the team and he knows their abilities. They should allow him to continue building the team, and I believe he will build a solid team that will make Nigeria proud at the World Cup. For now we should concentrate on the Nations Cup,” the  former Julius Berger coach he said.
