Uduaghan okays Warri housing scheme

GOVERNOR Emmanuel Uduagha of Delta State has commended Delta Mega Trend Investment Company for its effort at easing accommodation problem in Warri.

Delta Mega Trend is building 1000 three-bedroom flats, duplexes and bungalow estate called The Plantation on  DSC Expressway, Warri. Uduaghan, during  a recent visit to the site of the estate, commended the company for partnering with the state government on housing  in the city.

Sam Ogrih, the managing director of the company, said the estate when completed will not be different from what Victoria Garden City,VGC, in Lagos has in terms of facilities.

Ogrih, at  a press conference  after the visit of the governor, said the estate, hopefully, will be ready by next year since enquiries from prospective buyers are already coming in.

The estate is already 55 per cent completed. Ogrih said the choice of Warri for the estate is strategic, stressing that Warri, being the business capital of the state, should not settle for anything less than the kind of estate his company is putting up.
