Maku urges industrialists, Delta govt’s partnership

KOKO—CHAIRMAN of Abigborodo Community Trust, Delta State, Mr. Francis Eyituoyor-Maku, has called on entrepreneurs and industrialists to partner with Delta State governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, in order to realise the idea of  Warri Industrial Park Masterplan.

Mr. Eyituoyor-Maku also remarked that the industrial park was a project that has enormous potentials to frog-leap Delta State into becoming a new epicentre for commerce and industry in the nation.

He stated that the idea of the industrial park was a visionary and bold initiative that must be pursued with every sense of commitment and patriotism.

“I would say that I am happy because the Uduaghan administration has demonstrated enough goodwill to bring about the actualisation of the masterplan, in view of the steps taken so far by the state government,” the trust chairman said.

Mr. Eyituoyor-Maku listed massive job creation, growth of small and medium scale industries as well as a general upliftment of the living standard of the people as some of the economic benefits that would be derived from the Industrial Park project.

He said the economy of the state would be diversified, apart from the production of crude oil, by the time the industrial park comes on stream.
