Kwara Assembly pledges more funding for TV station

Ilorin–The Kwara  State owned Television Station (KwaraTV) appears to be on its way to the top as the state house of assembly has assured that sufficient fund would be appropriated to the television station in the 2010 budget to make its services and programmes more resourceful and efficient than the Nigerian Television Authority(NTA).

The Speaker, Mr. Babatunde Mohammed said this when the leadership of the house paid a visit to the television house in Ilorin as part of their oversight functions to the people of the state.

Mr Mohammed commended the management and staff of the television house for the commendation it received from the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) over its excellent programmes and services to the people of the state which were said to be in full compliance with the codes and conducts of the Commission.
