ABUJA—THE Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Anambra State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),
Professor Osita Ogbu told the chieftains of the party in the state that investing in a party does not translate to
ownership of the party structure or attempts to hijack it.

He also declared that the task of winning the February 2010 Anambra governorship election by the PDP “ is
daunting” because of the contending forces in the state.

Ogbu who urged all aggrieved aspirants and members of the party to sheathe their sword and embrace the
reconciliatory move of the party, however acknowledged the fact that some aspirants and chieftains must have spent
money, adding that they should try and rally round the candidate of the party, Professor Chukwuma Soludo as he was
quite optimistic that he would win the February 6, 2010 governorship election.
