Slow pace of work on Asaba/Ughelli road worries Nwaoboshi

By Austin Ogwuda
Asaba—DELTA State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Peter Nwaoboshi, has expressed concern over the slow pace of work at the Ughelli/Asaba Road project.

He has therefore charged the contractors handling the project to speed up action on the project, more so now that the rainy season is coming to an end.

Nwaoboshi, who stated this while on inspection tour of the project,  made it clear that the project was dear to the state government and warned that the state government would not want any delay or sabotage to impede it.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner in charge of dualization of Ugbenu-Koko Road project, Chief Emmanuel Eboh, has expressed satisfaction with the quality of work on the project, pointing out that on completion “it will link other roads across the state”.

Inspecting the project, Eboh called on the communities close to the road to cooperate with the contractor handling the project to ensure the successful completion of the work at the project.
