AS a proof that South Africans are eager to see the Eagles at the 2010 World Cup, the South Africa Tourism is organising a quiz to pick three Nigerian fans to Nairobi to support the Eagles against the Harambee Stars next weekend.

According to Phumi Dhlomo, Regional Director Africa and Domestic, South African Tourism, three football fans who listen and answer questions in a radio quiz competition will win an all-expenses paid trip and match tickets to the match in the VIP pavilion at the Moi International Sports Centre Nairobi, Kenya.

Thev quiz, he said would run from November 2-9 on Beat FM and Classic FM both in Lagos where fans would be asked questions on the coming World Cup, adding that winners who will be announced on November 9 will travel on November 12 for the match which comes up on November 14. The sensational prize includes air fare, three night’s accommodation and tickets to the match.

Other packages attached to the star prizes include all meals as well as free transfers to hotel and match venue. Runners up will get World Cup 2010 branded kits such as T-shirts, caps and vuvuzelas.

“We have always maintained that the World Cup does not belong to South Africa alone. It is Africa’s World Cup. The game in Nairobi presents the opportunity for us to create excitement around the first ever African football World Cup,” said Dhlomo.
