Nestle takes Maggi Mixpy to Enugu, Onitsha, Jos

Nestle Nigeria Plc has introduced its new powdered food seasoning, Maggi Mix’py to consumers in Enugu, Onitsha, Jos as a way of meeting up with the demands of its customers across the country.

Speaking during the launch, Nestle’s Category Business Manager (Culinary), Mrs. Uduak Bassey explained that the new Maggi Mix’py which was packaged in powder form was launched to give customers a wide variety of choice and further enrich their cooking.

According to her, the new product is available in two variants _ classic and ginger/garlic. These new flavours will bring additional choice and excite the taste buds of Maggi consumers who have remained loyal to the brand because of the value it offers and the unique taste it brings to their cooking.

Maggi, she added  has over the years become part of Nigeria’s cooking culture, delighting consumers with such quality products as Maggi cube (popularly called Maggi Star), Maggi Chicken, Maggi Crayfish and Maggi Golden Beef, all of which she observed, have made cooking a worthwhile experience in almost every Nigerian household.

Bassey explained that Maggi Mix’py is an addition and not a replacement for the Maggi range of products, stressing that it is targeted at satisfying the varying needs of consumers and giving them a wider range of choice.

In her address, the Special Guest of Honour and wife of the Enugu State Governor, Mrs. Clara Chime, who was represented by the wife of the Commissioner for Lands, Mrs. Nnnena Uzor urged consumers to patronize the ginger/garlic variant of Maggi Mix’py for its medicinal qualities.

and charged the company to carry out more research in using soya beans in nutritional beverages.
In the same vein, the Plateau State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs Sarah Yusuf has commended Nestle Nigeria PLC for the introduction of its new powdered food seasoning, Maggi Mixpy which was recently launched and introduced to consumers in Jos.

Speaking through her representative, Mrs. Mary Jatau, the Commissioner gave strong commendation to the company for introducing the product in powder form and in two new variants, classic and garlic ginger which offer additional health benefits beyond flavour and taste.

Mrs Jatau proudly told the audience that she grew up using the Maggi brand which is a permanent addition to the dishes prepared for her family till date.

“I grew up using Maggi and I still use the brand for everyday cooking. I urge all women to use the new Maggi Mixpy, which I am sure will add the same value to their cooking.”
