Intercontinental Bank rewards customers in anniversary promo

Intercontinental  Bank Plc on Thursday in Jos, Plateau State, gave out two new Toyota Corolla cars and 20 Simba motorcycles to its loyal customers in its on-going 20th anniversary promo draws.

The winners of the star prize -  2008 model Toyota Corolla were: Mr Udokwu Nelson Eyi-Ojo of Mararaba,  Nasarawa State and Mr Abel Usman of Ichama Street, Makurdi, Benue State while the 20 winners of the motorcycles came from different parts of the North Central Region.
Presenting the prizes to the lucky winners at the occasion, Intercontinental Bank Regional Director, North Central, Mr Anthony Isunuoya, said the promo was a way of rewarding customers who had remained loyal to the bank in spite of the stiff competition and challenges in the banking industry over the years.

Isunuoya, who represented Mr Mahmoud Lai Alabi, the Group Managing Director of the bank at the occasion, pointed out that the promo further signified a gesture of appreciation to the ever loyal and supportive customers who have contributed immensely to the success of the bank over the years, adding that the strong brand of the bank could not have been possible without the patronage of customers.

According to him, the bank has put aside a total of 20 Toyota Corolla cars and 160 Simba Motorcyles to be won in the anniversary promo draws scheduled for eight zones covering the 10 regions of the bank.

To qualify for the promo draws, a customer needs to open an account, increase the balance by N20,000 and leave it for 30 days, while the existing customers only need to maintain same balalnce for 30 days. The bank had in similar vein last year rewarded its customers with 18 Honda cars and 180 motorcycels in the Happy savers promo.

In his reaction after being handed the car key, Mr Udokwu Nelson Eyi-Ojo , described the gesture as the best thing that has happenend to him in 2009, saying that in his wildest imagination he never thought he could own a brand new car before the end of the year.
One of the motorcycle winners, Mallam Kabiru Abdullahi who was on hand to pick his prize, also thanked God for his success, saying he was going to put it to good use to help his family.
