Dana Air airlifts 252,000 passengers in 11 months

As Dana Airlines prepares to roll out the drums in celebration of its first 11 months of operations, the airline has said it airlifted no few than 252,000 passengers during the period.

Already, the airline has also churned out a promotional fare package of N9,000 for 99 seats daily for every one hour flight on any of its routes, including Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Enugu and the most recent, Port Harcourt.
Chief executive Officer of the airline, Mr. Jackie Hathiramani, said booking for the promotional fare must, however, be done online and at least 24 hours before flight, adding that the offer would last till November 10.
He said:  “It seems like yesterday that Dana Air took to the skies and we would not be celebrating one year of successful flight operations but for the patronage we have enjoyed from our guests.

“Through this special anniversary promotion, we want to appreciate the loyalty of our guests in the last twelve months and re-state our commitment to the provision of safe, affordable, world-class air transport services.
“We encourage all business and leisure travelers to any of our local destinations to take advantage of this special anniversary promotion and purchase their one way ticket online for just N9, 000; Ninety-nine seats will be on offer daily, till November 10, 2009.

“Passengers who travel with us during this period can also win several exciting prizes including complimentary Dana Air tickets.
“Dana Air places a high premium on safety and we will continuously invest in training of staff to ensure quality at every level of our operation.
“We also adhere strictly to the maintenance schedule of our aircraft, as prescribed by the manufacturers and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

Dana Air commenced commercial flight operations on Monday, November 10, 2008 with its maiden flight from Lagos to Abuja.
