UNIJOS students unsure of strike “suspension”

By Taye Obateru

Jos — Normal academic activities did not return to the University of Jos, yesterday, despite the suspension of strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) as most students, still uncertain of the situation, were yet to return to school.

Although many of the lecturers were seen at the various campuses of the university, most offices were still locked as members of the other staff associations were still on strike.

Students found on campus said most of their mates were hesitant to return to school for fear that the strike could resume after the two weeks.
