Ndanusa assures on hitch-free ministers conference

Nigeria’s Sports Minister, Sani Ndanusa, has assured on a hitch-free ministers conference, saying that every logistic has been put in place. The National Sports Commission boss said that the Main Plainning Committee for the third African Sports Ministers Conference has been working round the clock to make the epic event a memorable one.

The minister revealed that all the committees have worked assiduously to ensure adequate preparations even as delegates are expected to start arriving this

“We can say without any iota of doubt that Nigeria is ready to host the Ministers Conference which begins on Monday next week. Accommodation is ready at the Nicon Luxury while the security apparatus are at top level. Adequate preparations have also been made to convey delegates from the airport to the hotel as soon as they arrive. In all, we are expecting over 350 delegates from the continent,” Ndanusa said.

Anchor man of the conference, Chief Patrick Ekeji, said that the African Union delegates had inspected facilities for the conference and were happy with what they saw.

“This conference is germane to the development of sports in the continent,” Ekeji said. “We really have to move fast after the dissolution of the Supreme Council for Sports in Africa.”
