Ethiope East legislators pass vote of confidence on LG boss

UGHELLI—THE legislative arm of Ethiope East local government area of Delta State has passed a vote of confidence on the council chairman, Mr. Anthony Oboroh.

The House in a press release signed by its clerk, Mr. Tejere Akpobo, disclosed that it resolved to pass the vote of confidence in one of its recent sessions as a result of the landmark achievement of Oboroh’s administration in the council area.

According to the statement, the House, under the leadership of Mr. John Palmer, had been following due process in the administration of the council in compliance with the fiscal responsibility bill signed into law by the state government.

Noting that Mr. Oboroh had been very prudent in the management of the council’s resources irrespective of the global economic meltdown, the House held that the council chairman had been working in line with the 3-point agenda of the state government.
