Anambra Congress: ‘Suswam succumbed to Uba’

Emerging indication points to a dead conclusion that our fire spitting puritan, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Anambra ward congress chairman, Governor Gabriel Suswan, who lashed-out at Anambrians for being perpetually unruly at elections, actually was the dress undertaker for a no election in the Anambra PDP ward delegates congress.

Brimming with anger, hurt and disappointment, the campaign Directors of 18 of the 47 governorship aspirants said that it was regrettable that the fangs of vultures are here again to ruin the most expensive PDP organised state congress ever in the history of the country.

Chief Felix Oni, the Director General of the Agunechemba Campaign Organisation, who spoke the minds of the rest said that against the tide of expectation generated by the enthusiasm that external co-ordinators will be insulated from group allegiance, Suswan assembled the truly elected ward congress delegates, and simply traded it off to Chris Uba, to impose handpicked associates, and checked out pronto.

“How can the Suswan committee explain the fact that as a DG of a major group,  my own ward where I contested and won, was brazenly substituted with a character that never contested.

And when we surveyed the slant of those being so artfully imposed with swagger, we arrived at the inescapable conclusion that there was a “predetermined bargain, offer purchase, and delivery”, he said.

Asked who the imposed candidates represent, he said it was discomfort made worse that the imposed candidates belong to Chris Uba.
