Jang who was hopeful that there would be no future crisis in the state enjoined all to work for the achievement of peace in the state adding that Plateau should be a peace setter for others in the maintenance of peace.

“I will like to enjoin everybody to embrace peace so that we can achieve development. By the grace of God there will be no more crisis in Plateau State”, he said.

He described the death of Sheikh Hammajam as a big loss to the entire state describing him as a strict religious leader who never interfered in political matters.
