Emirates announces special Ramadan packages for Nigerian passengers

Emirates Airlines has introduced special Ramadan accommodation packages for passengers flying from Lagos to Dubai during the period.
The package, which is expected to commence August 20, would run till September 20, 2009.

With packages starting from only US$67 per person per night, based on two people sharing, the Ramadan offer is expected to generate substantial interest from travellers in Nigeria and at the global level. According to a statement issued by the airline, Emirates’ passengers already holding a one-way ticket to or via Dubai are eligible to book a three-night stay in some of Dubai’s most sought after properties at incredible prices.

Paulos Legesse, Emirates Country Manager, Nigeria, highlighted the importance of Ramadan in the Islamic calendar and the special deals on offer.“We are pleased to announce these incredible accommodation packages that will allow people from around the world to experience the magic of Ramadan in Dubai.
“With the help of our valued hotel partners, Emirates has endeavoured to offer our passengers the chance to explore this beautiful city whilst staying in some of the city’s newest hotel developments at a reduced rate” he explained.

Skywards members will receive an additional bonus earning 20 percent miles when they book a minimum three_night Ramadan package.
A total of 12 different properties are taking part in the Ramadan offer including five star hotels and apartments, allowing customers to select an option that meets their individual needs.

All properties are conveniently located close to shopping malls and restaurants offering guests easy access to some of Dubai’s newest attractions such as Dubai Mall and the awe-inspiring Dubai Fountain.

Dubai offers visitors from around the globe a truly remarkable experience. This vibrant and cosmopolitan city brings together a unique mix of old Arabian hospitality and tradition with state-of-the-art facilities and entertainment.

The Emirates Ramadan package includes; airport (landslide) assistance upon arrival at Dubai International Airport, Arabian Adventure welcome pack, return transfers from airport to hotel by private car and Sohur of buffet breakfast daily.

According to the airline, participating properties for this offer include Grand Hyatt Dubai, the Address Downtown Burj Dubai, The Harbour Hotel and Residence, Marco Polo Hotel, Qamardeen Hotel, Country Club hotel, Le Meridien Dubai, Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, The Palace – The Old Town, Pearl Residence Hotel Apartments, Savoy Park Hotel Apartments and Nuran Marina Residences.It said the Ramadan package does not include flights, which must be purchased separately. A minimum three night stay is required with the option to extend the stay.
