UGHELLI—A High court sitting at Ughelli, Delta State has restrained Globalcom Nigeria limited and one Chief Peter Igbini from further trespassing on a portion of land belonging to one Chief E.K. Stanley Onosigho, pending the hearing and determination of the substantive Suit No. UHC/36/2009.

The court, presided over by Justice C.E. Achilefu, restrained the defendants (Globalcom and Chief Peter Igbini) from “building, erecting and/or in any other way further interfere with the plaintiff/applicant ownership/possesory right over the parcel of land located at Enachenukpode opposite Imoniyame Holdings behind Safari Guest House off Lady Akpoguma Street, iwhrekpokpo, Ughelli.

The court held that “the plaintiff, Chief Stanley Onosigho, shall enter into a bond of undertaking to the tune of N100,000 as required by law to pay damages to the defendants/respondents in the event that this application is found to be frivolous and should not have been granted.”

The plaintiff had filed a motion praying the court for an order of interlocutory injunction restraining the defendants from further trespassing on the said piece of land.
