Former Flying Eagles coach Tunde Disu     believes former Super Eagles captain Austin Okocha is better off in the Presidential Task Force than in the Super Eagles. His comments is as a result of the call made by former Green Eagles winger Adokie Amiesimaka, calling on the NFF and Presidency to prevail on Okocha to quit retirement.

According to him, bringing the former Bolton Wanderers midfielder  back in the  team would  require  more work and physical fitness on the part of the player. Disu said the coming of Okocha in the team might not be the best idea.
“ Honestly speaking, it is not going to be easy for Okocha to return to the team. He should be made to focus on the task force committee and other things which he is doing. Although we have seen  cases like this in other countries but in our case, it is not going to be easy. Of course, our game now  is not based on novelty match but a competitive one, which players have to be  more committed,” he said.

“For Jay Jay to come back will  mean so much , not only for himself  but also to the team. The situation we are in now is not a child’s play, it requires seriousness and commitment, if we must qualify. But if he wants to come back he has to declare it , and I know with his seriousness Amodu will take him back,” he declared.
