Uduaghan lauds construction firm on Koko-Ebabelemaji road

WARRI—Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State  has commended the pace of work on the Koko-Ebabelemaji Road project being handled by Python for the state government in Warri North Local Government Area.

Speaking at the site of Python, during an inspection of the project, the governor expressed satisfaction over the quality and timely execution of the projects, adding that the pace of operation by the construction company showed that it was ready to partner with the government to upgrade the living conditions of the inhabitants of the coastal oil bearing communities.

Accompanied by the state’s Commissioner for Works, Mr. Paul Osaji, Uduaghan said:

“The performance of Python showed that it is possible to bring infrastructural development to the difficult terrain of the riverside areas of the Niger Delta.

The effort of Python Engineering Company is commendable. I am impressed by the pace and level of work done on Koko-Ebabelemaji Road .

“The completion of the road would open up the area for development and what the Python Engineering Company is doing here shows that no part of the state is difficult to develop.

I am optimistic that the project would be completed within stipulated time and I am urging other construction companies to emulate the good example set by Python in the execution of this project gave the commendation during the inspection .

The governor had been briefed by Python’s Project Manager, Mr. Mohamad Kanaan, on the progress on the project.

In his reaction, Python’s Director of Administration, Mr. Allison Amaefula, said standard and quality were the watchwords of the operation of the construction company, adding that Python has distinguished itself in the oil industry in the country.

Amaefula thanked the Governor for giving indigenous companies the opportunity to operate in the state.
