INC president lauds Penawou’s donation to Gbaramatu natives

WARRI—NATIONAL President of Ijaw People Congress, Mr Ekanpou Enewaridideke, has commended Chief Executive Officer of First Marine and Engineering Services Limited, Chief Joseph Tubodei Penawou, for donating relief materials to Gbaramatu communities.

The Ijaw activist, in a statement, lauded Chief Penawou for his gestures, saying “First Marine and Engineering Services Limited, as a company operating in Gbaramatu kingdom, is deeply touched by the travails of the innocent people adversely affected by the war in the creeks.

“As a group, we highly applaud and commend the humanitarian efforts of Chief Joseph Penawou. Penawou deserves kudos for remembering the Gbaramatu communities in their moment of grief and travails via First Marine and Engineering Services Limited.”

Besides, he said “We also wish to use this medium to once again commend Chief  Penawou also provided sponsorship of the recent Delta State swimming competition organised by the Delta State Sports Commission.

The swimming competition, which drew participants from the local governments in Delta State was targeted to catching them young and paved the way for Nigeria to maintain her winning tempo in international competitions in Africa and beyond.
