House C’ttee gives Etisalat kudos on Quality of Service

The House of Representa    tives Chairman on   Communication, Honorable Dave Salako at the weekend in Lagos expressed satisfaction at Etisalat outstanding quality of service as indicated in the performance report released recently by the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC).

The regulatory authority had rated Etisalat as the number one GSM Company in Nigeria in terms of quality of service.  Salako who led other members of the committee on a facility tour of Etisalat HQ, Data Centre and Call Centre to assess the level of progress and the huge investment made so far by Etisalat to the Nigerian economy, urged the company to continue giving Nigerians outstanding and qualitative service as a way of gaining competitive advantage.
He further urged other GSM service providers to brace up to the challenge of providing good service in the dynamic telecommunication industry and ensure that subscribers get value for their money by offering quality and friendly services.

At a press conference shortly after the facility tour, Etisalat Nigeria Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Steve Evans reaffirmed the company’s commitment to qualitative and world_class service for which Etisalat is known for in all the countries where it operates.

According to him, “We have moved further from promises made to promises delivered as is evident in the recent performance report released by NCC. Etisalat is committed to providing world_class telecommunications services to prospective customers in fulfilment of our mandate in Nigeria as we embark on roll_out in more villages, towns and cities across the nation, and in line with our operating standards in the 17 other countries where we operate.”

Evans reiterated Etisalat’s belief in maintaining cordial and mutually beneficial relationships with all stakeholders to its business particularly the various arms of government which the company holds in high esteem. “Etisalat is committed to partnering with all arms of government to actualize its set goals and we sincerely appreciate your visit. As a responsible and responsive corporate organization, our activities are executed in an ethical and accountable manner.”

Enumerating some of the company’s achievements, the CEO informed that Etisalat is currently embarking on roll_out activities and extension of its network coverage  areas to more villages, towns and cities to further avail Nigerians the opportunity of its innovative products and services that have set Etisalat apart as the best network for outstanding value added products and services. He noted that Etisalat currently has two product packages, the Easy Starter which is the company flagship; and Easy Cliq, the recently launched product specially designed for the youth segment of its subscriber base.
