The European-American University Commonwealth of  Dominica will confer honourary Doctorate Degree award on eminent Nigerians on July 11, 2009 in Lagos.

According to the statement by the West African Co-ordinator of the university, Prof. Williams Afam Egbuta, the deserving Nigerians are Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, Oyo State Governor, Chief Christopher Alao-Akala, Alhaji Ibrahim Garba, Kano State Commissioner for Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Chief Peter Okeze, MD/CEO, Pan Express Group Ltd.

Others are Dr. Oliver Ekeh, Pioneer Network Marketing in Nigeria, Tianshi Group, Mrs. Anthonia Akingbola, MD/CEO. Tropics Finance & Investment Company Ltd., Captain Michael Adesina, Chairman/CEO International School of Aviation, Dr. Fred Odutola, General Secretary, Bible Society of Nigeria, Mr. Tayo Aderinoku MD/CEO, GTbank, among others.
