Seven heads of state for 4th African Forum

Abuja— Seven African Heads of State would participate at the 4th forum of the German-founded Africa Forum of the Partnership with Africa Initiative in Abuja next month.
The declaration was made yesterday in Abuja by the German ambassador in Nigeria, Mr Joachim Schmillen, who said that the forum would begin on Nov. 7.
The ambassador listed those expected as presidents John Kufuor of Ghana, Blaise Compaore of Burkina Faso, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf of Liberia, Paul Kagame of Rwanda and Prime Minister Meles Zenawi of Ethiopia.
Schmillen added that the President of the AU Commission, Jean Ping, the President of the ECOWAS Commission, Mohamed Ibn Chambas, and the President of the Pan-Africa Parliament Gertrude Mongella, would also be in attendance.
The envoy said also that about 40 representatives from the spheres of politics, business and culture in Africa and Germany, would participate.
