Christian Church of God, Fountain of Life Parish in Lagos, to adorn God with all manner of praises on October 1.

None present in the auditorium could withhold the happiness, joy and laughter which pervaded the atmosphere as Midnight Crew, Eyan Jesu and Damola thrilled the crowd with their astounding performances.

Speaking at the programme tagged Praise to Victory, Mr. Shola Alabi, co-ordinator, Praise Club International, Lagos chapter, noted that the programme was holding for the 13th year. He explained that in 1995, God mandated the founder who is currently running the Akure chapter, to gather people of all races, ages and sex to worship and praise Him on every first day of October.

His words: “ She was given a reference to Leviticus, where the Jewish world of old held a celebration for marking the beginning of each new year. This celebration actually held on the seventh month of each year. If you trace it down to Nigeria, it tallies with our anniversary which is the first of October. The clash in the given date made it clear to the founder that we should celebrate and praise God on behalf of Nigeria on that day.
