AS the days turn into hours in the title fight between WBC Champion Samuel 'Nightmare' Peter and Vitali Klitschko, the Nigerian has shown that he is not one to be out-done even in a strange land.

Peter stakes his title against Klitschko on Saturday in Berlin in a fight many believe the Nigerian holds the ace because of his blinding power punches.
In one of the Press Conferences, the Nigerian Nightmare was provoked into speaking his native dialects, Annang and Ibibio, after the Ukrainian spoke in German. The World Press stood in awe as Peter who was asked to speak in English launched into a babel of tongues.
Boxing analysts rose in unison to salute his courage and fearlessness. That was the beginning of trouble for Klitschko who climbs into the ring on Saturday against Peter after years of inactivity, without one warm up match in between.
After absorbing the shock of the language brouhaha, Klitschko pulled out another stunt when the two boxers were asked to pose for photo shots before anxious photographers. The tall Ukrainian who hopes to join his younger brother Wladimir in holding all boxing titles if he beats Peter on Saturday tried to hold the belt to his side. An angry Peter snatched the belt from Vitali.
Speaking after the incident, Peter promised to make Klitschko bleed. “He has tried to be disrespectful and arrogant to me. I will teach him a lesson the hard way.
That is the only way he will know the difference between us. I am going to shatter the ambition of the brothers in holding all titles. I already have a score to settle with his younger brother after they gave him a fight that I clearly dominated. After beating him, I will fight his younger brother and settle our final score,” the Nigerian who is reputed to have the deadliest punch in the world said.
Already, the fight is generating so much interest in Nigeria with Akwa Ibom State Governor leading a powerful delegation to watch and support their son. “He has brought honour to Nigeria, Africa and the black race. And we are proud he is our son,” Chief Press Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Usoro Usoro proudly said on our hotline.
