Reduction of state workforce: Mimiko refutes allegation |

LABOUR Party governorship candidate in Ondo State, Dr. OLusegun Mimiko weekend described as wicked, untrue and a blackmail the speculation that he would reduce the State’s workforce by half when inaugurated.
Dr Mimiko who fingered the state government said that the speculation being peddled through a local tabloid in the state was meant to blackmail him and caused a wedge between him and the workforce. This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Labour party state chairman, Dr Olaiya Oni in Akure. But the state government while reacting to the attack washed its hands off the publication. The state publicity secretary of the PDP Chief Yemi Adedipe said that the opposition was only jittery because one of its plans has been exposed to the people of the state. Adedipe said that the party was cork sure that Dr Agagu would win at the Appeal Court and that there would be no reason for the opposition to take over in the state.
