AFter months of public outcry against the excesses of the Bayelsa State special security outfit, Operation Famou Tangbe, information filtered into town in early September that the outfit had been proscribed. It was the beginning of the end of the political hegemony that had been forged over the past four years by the immediate past governor of the state, Mr. Timipire Sylva.
