Enugu—The South-East zone of All Progressives Congress, APC, has ratified the suspension of the Ebonyi State Chairman of the party, Ben Nwaobosi.
This was contained in a statement by the Zonal Publicity Secretary of the party, Hyacinth Ngwu, in Enugu, yesterday.
This was even as the Buhari Infrastructure Renewal, BIR, had urged the Federal Government to include Enugu Coal to power, the Second Niger Bridge, the Maiduguri-Port Harcourt rail line and Adani-Anambra Rice Project in President Muhammadu Buhari’s External Borrowing Plan.
Ngwu’s statement on the suspension of Nwaobosi read in part: “Following the report of the fact finding/disciplinary committee set up pursuant to APC constitution Article 21B (II), by the South-East zonal committee to mediate on chairmanship crisis in Ebonyi State and pursuant to the committee’s recommendations submitted to the zonal Executive on October 14, the Zonal Executive Committee, ZEC, met on October 27 and resolved to sustain the suspension of Ben Nwaobosi as Ebonyi State Chairman of APC.”
