PORT HARCOURT— Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has assured that it will continue to support Police to effectively fight crime.
Acting Managing Director of the Commission, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, gave the assurance when the Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG, Zone 6, Calabar, Cross River State, paid her a courtesy visit at the commission’s headquarters in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
She lauded the Police for providing security for the activities of the commission, adding that the commission will always assist the Police to discharge their duties under friendly atmosphere.
Semenitari recalled that when she assumed office, one of the first things she did was to complete a six- flat complex for senior officers of the force.
Her words: “We make bold to say that this Commission is kept safe largely by the Nigerian Police and for this we are grateful.”
It’s also because of the work of your men and other sister security agencies that we can continue to do the work we do in the region, especially with the kinds of harassments some of our contractors face.
