UGHELLI—THE 2015 Delta State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor and state party chairman, Jones Erue, have commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the nomination of two Deltans into the board of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
Describing the nominations as a move that would further reinvigorate members of the party in the state to work harder in repositioning the party, Emerhor, in a statement, yesterday, explained that the nomination of Samuel Adjogbe and Dr Ogaga Ifowodo, both from Delta Central and Delta South respectively, has given the state a sense of belonging in the APC-led government at the centre.
He said: “The NDDC appointments could not have come at a better time when we are mobilising new members to register with our great party. It is a thing of joy that this appointment is coming now as it will energise the party in the state to do more in our quest to take over Delta come 2019.”
On his part, the state party chairman, Jones Erue, explained that the appointments had reaffirmed the true leadership of the party in the state.
