National U-23 Eagles opponents in Sunday’s Olympic Games qualifier, Congo are expected to arrive Nigeria today.
Spokesman of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF , Ademola Olajire said that the Congolese FA had informed the NFF that the visitors will arrive in the country today for the match billed to hold inside the Adokie Amasiemaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
According to Olajire, the Congolese who defeated Ghana to make it to this round of qualifier will be received by the officials of the FA on arrival before they move to Port Harcourt for the match.
“They have informed us that they will be coming to the country on Friday and we have made all necessary arrangement to receive them just as we are prepared for the match says Olajire
Meanwhile, winner in the two leg matches between Nigeria and Congo will qualify for the CAF African Olympic Qualifying Champion-ship
holding in Senegal later in the year.
