Yenagoa—The Anti-Vice Squad of Bayelsa State Police Command, yesterday, arrested three persons for alleged involvement in the killing of a boy, Kurotimi Alexander, aged 23, by suspected members of a cult group.
The deceased, an indigene of Ekeowe in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the state, was attacked by four suspected cultists at Okaka suburb of Yenagoa and killed him with a machete.
The incident, it was learned, had heightened fear among residents of possible rival attacks around the Amarata, OMPADEC, Okaka, Kpansia and Azikoro areas.
A resident of Okaka area, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the victim was chased by four armed youths into a building at about 8am.
