DELTA State Council of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, yesterday, called on Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan to stop dealing with it through his Special Adviser on Labour Matters and Industrial Relations, Mr. Mike Okeme.

In a statement at the end of its State Executive Council, SEC, meeting in Asaba, the Congress said Okeme, a former NLC Chairman in the state, was yet to deliver the 10 buses collected on behalf of NLC from government, among others, urging the governor to henceforth deal directly with NLC in the interest of industrial harmony.

A statement by its Chairman, Mr. Williams Akporeha, NLC alleged that the aide had been deliberately destabilising the activities of labour in the state by trying to cause serious harm and avoidable acrimony between labour and the state government.
