Delta State for Peace and Development, DSPD, has endorsed a former super permanent secretary in defunct Bendel State, Dr. Esther Uduehi to succeed Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan in 2015.

National President of DSPD, Mr. Ibaba Preye in a statement after a meeting in Ughelli, said: “After careful examination of all the candidates, who have indicated interest in the race, we have found Dr. Uduehi worthy in character and performance to be the next governor of the state.

“Uduehi, a former permanent secretary in the defunct Bendel State; former chairman of Board of Directors in eight different companies in which the defunct Bendel State had controlling interest; former Presidential Adviser and presently a Chairman of a Federal Board of Directors has all it takes to be the governor of Delta State.”
He urged Deltans to give their support to a candidate that would ensure continuity in the development of the state.
