LABOUR Party Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Fatai Akinbade has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of mischief- making and denied having any pact with any of the parties.
Akinbade in a statement by his Director of Media, Mr. Kayode Oladeji, said APC was toeing the line of the PDP in name dropping, noting that the two parties had sensed their imminent defeat, necessitating the ploy to confuse the electorate. His reaction is coming on the heels of a news item aired on a radio station that the LP had allegedly endorsed Aregbesola for second term, as authored by one Raji Adeyinka
“We see this as a jittery strategy. Those behind this are faceless and we challenge them to come out in the open. The LP is one big invincible party that will take over power as from next Saturday when the people shall elect me, Akinbade as new governor”
The LP candidate wondered why a ruling party APC and the PDP could go to the extent of dropping his name, stressing, ‘’ I am sure that Aregbesola and his PDP counterpart have already seen the hand writing on the wall’’.
