Nsukka—Ex-Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN, Professor Malachy Okwueze, has called on Nsukka Zonal  Youth Council Forum to shun violence during 2015 elections.

Prof. Okwueze made the call at Nsukka on an event organised by NYCF to honour some distinguished sons and daughters of Enugu North senatorial zone, who excelled in politics and commerce.

He said youth as future leaders, should be agents of peace and progress and as such, should avoid being used as thugs and other crimes associated with politics, mostly now the governorship ticket had been zoned to Enugu North senatorial zone.

He said: “Be good ambassadors of the zone through exemplary conducts, seek advice from elders before engaging in any act of politics.”
He commended youths of the zone for deeming it necessary to honour sons and daughters of the zone who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavour as well as contributed immensely to national development.
