A campaign to see that a woman succeeds Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan as Delta State governor in 2015 has started

Two groups in Uvwie Local Government Area od the state have called on Deltans to support Dr. Esther Uduehi’s bid for the governorship race in the state, saying that women are better managers of men and resources

In a joint statement by Chairman of Concerned Uvwre Political Forum, CUPF, Mr. Christian Eshenake and National President of Delta State for Peace and Development, DSPD, Mr. Ibaba Preye, they noted that there was need for Deltans to give their support to Dr. Uduehi whose track record has evidently shown that she was qualified to govern Delta State.

They assured Deltans that Uduehi will deliver the dividends of democracy to the door steps of all Deltans.

The groups maintained that Delta State was ripe for a female governor and urged Deltans to queue behind a candidate, who would continue and improve on what the current administration in the state started
